As of July 2010, Mindful Schools has served over 8,500 students and 450 teachers in 34 schools,
74% of which are public schools with predominantly underserved populations.
We have provided In-Services for Teacher Professional Development days, New Teacher Support,
OUSD psychologists, and outside organizations such as Sports4Kids. We have presented at the
California Association of Independent Schools Conference, the Center for
Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical
School in March, and the Cal Psychology Conference, among others.
As a result of our trainings, others are implementing similar programs world-wide, including, Modesto,
Sacramento, Half Moon Bay, Colorado, Texas, Peru and Israel.
