She firmly believes in Mindful Schools’ inside out approach, saying, “When we build a supportive and heart-centered connection with ourselves and our colleagues first, we have the confidence and resilience to tackle the important work of transforming our school environments.”
Megan earned her BA in History from UC Davis, her MEd from Stanford University, and her EdD from Mills College. Her doctoral degree is in educational leadership, with a focus on education finance and managing change in educational settings.
Megan was raised in Berkeley, California, and currently resides in Alameda, California, with her young son and two dogs. Megan was first introduced to mindfulness in elementary school, and it has been a core part of her life since graduating high school.
