Biography

Alicia began her career as a Special Education Teacher and School Psychologist. She worked with students in early intervention Pre-K programs through alternative high school programs serving students in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland, Oregon. While obtaining her MA in Counseling, Alicia engaged with research on resilience, cultural counseling, positive psychology and strength-based assessment.

Currently, Alicia is a full time graduate student pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis in Transformative Social Change. She works as a part time School Psychologist in Fairfax, CA, and as a part time Transformational Recovery Coach, assisting individuals through the recovery process.

Alicia believes that mindfulness and creativity are important sources of joy, peace, presence and fulfillment.
