Biography
Through teaching, Colleen DiDonato has always been hands on in the battle for equity and has taught over 2000 Philadelphian youth during her 18 year career. Colleen is a Pennsylvania State Certified English teacher, a Social Justice and Mindfulness Instructor. She is a lead teacher with a special focus on Literature, Mindfulness, Social Justice and College Readiness. She is currently a Master level teacher and has experience as a teacher coach, peer leader, content lead, mindset lead and grade team lead for a leading education organization in Philadelphia. Colleen is a graduate of Temple University (M.ED) and mother of three.
Though English is her teaching background, she has a well-rounded, multi-faceted approach to education. She recently developed and implemented a mindfulness curriculum for 500+ students and staff. She is the leader of the mindfulness movement within a network of 1200+ educators.
