Denise Nobile is the founder of Youth Nation Yoga, located in Brewster, New York. She is also an educator with the Somers Central School District, where she teaches English language arts at the middle school level. As a classroom teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels, she’s come to discover how stressed our children are these days. With the demands of school, extracurricular activities, friends and family obligations, and technology use, now more than ever, it’s important for kids to slow down, pause, and take a breath. As an educator, Denise intends to bring a movement and mindfulness practice to as many children as possible, helping them be their best selves, one breath, one movement, and one moment at a time.
Denise also facilitates workshops for school educators, clinicians, parents, and yoga teachers who are interested in bringing a movement and mindfulness practice to the youth in their lives. Denise also trained with Liberation Prison Yoga, where she teaches trauma-conscious yoga and mindfulness classes to the women at the Taconic Correctional Facility.
