Biography

Emily, Ed.S, MA, LMHCA, is an interactive and creative mental health counselor in private practice in Seattle. Emily provides both individual and small group counseling services for kids, teens and adults. Emily also teaches mindfulness both in and out of the counseling office. Additionally, Emily speaks and writes about mindfulness and meditation.

Previous to working in private practice, Emily worked as a School Psychologist and School Counselor in the public school system. Emily has a wealth of knowledge and experience working within the special education system as well as with kids with disabilities. Emily’s experience in the schools allows her to collaborate well with schools and teachers.

Emily is grounded deeply in her practice of mindfulness and looks forward to being able to share her passion for the practice with you. It is her belief that mindfulness practice can help us, particularly our young people, build resilience and thrive in this world.
