Kimberly is a mindfulness meditation practitioner and trained instructor. She has a degree in psychology and has worked in the mental health field since 2000. It was during her years in college that she began to explore meditation and mindfulness. She understands through personal experience how these practices lead to greater resilience, peace, clarity, and well-being.
She enjoys sharing the practice of mindfulness meditation with individuals of all ages. In addition to offering the Mindful Schools’ K-5 and Adolescent programs in public schools, Kimberly created a 6-week mindfulness meditation training experience for adults. Since 2016, she has offered this training to teachers, mental health workers, and individuals receiving mental health services. It is designed to gently and naturally guide participants through weekly practices and techniques that help them cultivate moment-to-moment awareness, as well as greater equanimity, concentration, compassion, and more presence within their lives.
Kimberly is interested in partnering with local mindfulness meditation practitioners who hold a similar vision of integrating this practice into school settings and work places. She is also passionate about working with parents and families who are interested in exploring practices of mindfulness and loving-kindness within their homes.
