Biography

Mary Dugan is an experienced Occupational Therapist and Educator. She has been a member of the Training and Consultation team at the Chester County Intermediate Unit for the past twenty years. Mary’s passion is to support each young student’s ability to be curious, present and compassionate with self and others. Seeking to deepen her personal mindfulness practice, she sought training from Mindful Schools and feels honored to offer the Mindful Schools Curriculum lessons to hundreds of children, teachers, support and administrative staff and parents in districts throughout Chester County, Pennsylvania. As each school community explores opening the door to a mindful way of being and learning, Mary finds much joy in supporting the community to use and share mindfulness with their families and friends at home, in whatever experience the moment brings.

Mary holds a B.S. in Education from West Chester State University, Certificate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania and M.A. in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University.
