Pamela Tomassetti Hulbert, a graduate of Seton Hill University (1980), The Catholic University of America (1984), and the LAUSD District Intern Program (1999) is presently a State Certified Teacher in both California and Ohio. She has worked with kids and their families for over 20 years in many capacities including a Yoga ED instructor, an LAUSD Nutrition Network facilitator, and an educator at public and private schools. Pam is also a member of Actors’ Equity and enriches her instruction with theatre, music, and art. She has been practicing and teaching Mindfulness for 4 years both in and outside of school settings.
Pamela lives in Michigan and is currently a Primary teacher at Maumee Valley Country Day School in Toledo OH. She is a Mindful Schools Certified Mindfulness Instructor (CMI) having completed 300 hours of programming with their Mindful Teacher Certification Program. She has taught mindfulness to students, faculty, staff, and parents. Currently, Pam is continuing her studies to include chair yoga and mindfulness breaks for children ages 3-12.
Pamela has had the good fortune of studying Mindfulness under Megan Cowan, Chris McKenna, Vinny Ferraro, Oren Jay Sofer, Matthew Brensilver through Mindful Schools and with Janet Solyntes, and Jim Colosi at Shambala Mountain Retreat Center. She also participated in the initial Yoga Ed program in 2003 through PERC and the Accelerated School in south central Los Angeles. Pamela collaborated with Jenn McCullough of Integration Yoga to bring Leah Kalish of Move with Me Yoga Adventures to Toledo OH for a master class.
