I have a dedicated yoga practice, and bring the concepts of breath work and movement into my classes.
Shannon Fox has been practicing mindfulness since 2013. She is particularly interested in the science behind the practice and anything involving the brain. Her personal practice grew through coursework in: Positive Psychology, The Science of Happiness, Uncovering Happiness, How our Brains Learn, and many more Mindfulness courses! She is a life-long learner and enjoys any opportunity to add to her knowledge base.
She is currently raising four teenagers, and was moved by the amount of stress and pressure that kids face these days. As an active volunteer and teacher in her public schools for the past 20 years, she was inspired to bring the practice to the classroom. She has been teaching the program to elementary-aged children and hopes to expand the program to the middle school age set.
Sharing this gift with the kids has been one of the most rewarding things she has ever done!
