Biography

Nyingje is a healthcare educator supporting and working with youth and adults for over 25 years. She is a Mindful Schools mentor and a graduate of the Mindful Schools Yearlong training. Nyingje also completed meditation teacher training with Shane Wilson and is a certified Integral Yoga Teacher and Karma Kids Yoga Teacher. Since 2012, Nyingje has been teaching adult education in holistic bodywork and energy work.

At the early age of 15, Nyingje had a profound experience working with the dying as part of a middle-school volunteer project. As a result, she wanted to bridge the gap between youth and adults. As an End-Of-Life Doula, working with the dying for over 25 years, Nyingje brings these experiences into her teachings with youth and adults within interfaith communities.

Fordham University has provided Nyingje with the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor in Social Work and go on to the Master in Social Work program. Committed to social justice and advocacy, the combination of education in interspiritual ministry and social work is a wonderful blend of education that has permitted Nyingje to be able to educate and support diverse communities at large and bridge the gap between the youth and adult population.
