Biography
Susan Mordecai holds a teaching license in Vermont with a Masters in Education. She currently works as a Mindfulness Educator and Educational Consultant. In addition to her teaching work, she is a candidate for a Masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University. In 2003, Susan became certified in Radiant Child Yoga. It was during this period that she first noticed the longing for stillness that her students had at the end of yoga sessions. It was that noticing that inspired her to bring mindfulness into the classroom and into the lives of students, teachers, and care-givers. In 2009 she began her on-going training in mindful education. She is currently Director of Services for Mindful In Vermont.
