Our country is in the midst of a youth mental health crisis and schools need our support.
If we act now, we have the opportunity to change the course of students’ lives.
A survey of high school students by the CDC showed that 44% felt persistently sad or hopeless during the past year. However, youth who felt connected to adults and peers at school were 18% less likely than those who did not to report poor mental health.
Mindful Schools has a research based approach that yields powerful results. After only eight weeks of our program:
- 96% of educators report having developed strategies to support their own well-being
- 99% of educators report having effective strategies to build a positive classroom climate
- 98% of educators report having effective strategies to build and strengthen relationships with students
Mindful Schools relies on support from the community to partner with schools like the ones featured in the videos below. Your gift today will ensure children will gain the nurturing support and essential life skills they need to navigate challenges with resilience, agency, and ease.
Join us in the movement to build school communities to connect, heal, and thrive.
With care,
