Emily Rosen M.Ed. has been practicing mindfulness and yoga for more than 15 years. As the mindfulness services coordinator for the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC), a nonprofit education agency in Hartford, Connecticut, Emily teaches mindfulness to students of all ages. She brings great passion to her work and enjoys sharing with students the benefits of integrating mindfulness into their lives. She has also designed and led numerous staff development programs for teachers, administrators, psychologists, counselors, behavior specialists, speech therapists, and others.
Emily organizes CREC’s annual statewide mindfulness conference, which features a nationally-recognized keynote speaker and brings together educators, behavioral health providers and parents to share their expertise and experience.
In addition to her Mindful Schools certification, Emily is a Licensed Trainer for Yoga 4 Classrooms®. She enjoys incorporating joyful movement into her mindfulness lessons with adults and children alike.
Emily volunteers as a yoga and mindfulness teacher for an after school “club” at an independent school for disadvantaged middle school girls in Hartford, CT.
