“Mindfulness has given me the space and inspiration to grow from the depths of my being. It has ignited a flame and awakened a hunger inside of me that I want to share.”
Tamala Dickinson is a Mindfulness Practitioner, Instructor and Para Educator who is committed to planting seeds of kindness, awareness and acceptance in children and adults; activating a curiosity within to delve, dream and develop their authentic self.
Her 17 years of experience supporting struggling students (academically, emotionally), has illuminated her awareness that young people have something inside of them that needs to be stimulated and nurtured. Teaching Mindfulness has given her the opening to share mindful tools that are priceless and that can aid them on their life’s journey.
At her work place Tamala facilitates Mindfulness Sits for students, teachers & para educators, counsellors, therapists and the administrative team.
She has presented at public forums for therapists, educators, parents, church groups and family services.
She would like to humbly thank her instructors from the Mindful Schools, her daughters for believing in her, and her school community and friends for their continuous support and many opportunities.
“Planting a seed of mindfulness can a grow a tree of kindness and compassion.”
